Sauteed Chicken in White Wine

This dish pairs great with Red Wine 

Items needed:

2 chicken breasts cut in half width-wise

1/3 cup Almond flour

1 egg

2 Tbsp Avocado oil

¼ stick of butter

¼ cup of white cooking wine (0 carbs) in the cooking aisle in the supermarket

2 pieces of Ham

2 pieces of Swiss cheese

 Instructions: 

  1. Scramble egg in a bowl and put almond flour in a separate bowl
  2. Take each piece of chicken and wash it in the egg bowl then place it in the almond flour bowl flip it over so both sides of the chicken are covered with almond flour
  3. Preheat Avocado oil in a pan on medium to high
  4. Place all chicken in the pan with Avocado oil and fry until both sides of the chicken are crispy and browned
  5. Add butter to the pan and reduce heat to medium until melted
  6. Add white wine 
  7. Once it boils add half a piece of ham on top of each piece of chicken and cover pan and let simmer until chicken is cooked – about 10 minutes
  8. Place a half a piece of Swiss cheese on top of each piece of chicken and cover until melted.
